First stop on the Niagara trip is at the Warther Carvings in Dover, Ohio. Ernest "Mooney" Warther, "World's Master Carver" did his magic here. My pictures do not do this justice.

Arrowheads anyone ?


Mooney worked in a steel mill. Then he carved this likeness of the machinery. The big flywheel moves.


Mooney carved exquisite models of steam trains.


These pliers are made from a single piece of wood for each pair. There is no waste of wood.


Dad is looking at the plier tree. There are 511 pairs of pliers !
